In my line of work, Sundays aren't always a day of rest! I spent yesterday checking the weather map and flight delays, making sure my clients' travels were going to work out well! Hurricane season adds to the fun of flying, especially when you are heading toward the hurricane! They made it, although 1.5 hours late, but they made it! And now that they are on the east coast, I know what Saturday, September 15th will be another day of vigilance as they head home. #travel #travelconsultantsworkingforyou #celticheritagedestinations

I'm sorry that I've been out of the blogging world! I've been busy, and frankly forgot to let you know what is going on with Celtic Heritage Destinations! I'll try to be brief!

We continue to book travel for clients who want that special hands on care that a travel professional can give them
Our Caledonian Canal Barge Cruise Holiday was a huge success for our small group in September 2017. We discovered smaller is better and really enjoyed having the barge to ourselves. We all got a chance to help the barge through the locks and pilot the barge, under the watchful eye of Captain Dave. We hiked, we sailed, we canoed, we ate, we listened to a special guest musician, and we relaxed! What a special six days it was and we are ready to book the next cruise for our special clients. This is a perfect idea for families, friends, and an infinity group (think photographers). Celtic Heritage Destinations can help you plan the trip from start to finish. Boating on the Menai Strait in Wales

This was one of the highlights of our tour in Wales! What fun it was to get in the RIB and explore the Menai Strait. The water is so wild! Whirlpools, rip currents, and crazy tidal influence! I was so happy we had an expert at the helm!
